Performance Measurements on Complete Units and Components

Measurement of fans and other components on the chamber test stand serves as a supplement to manufacturer specifications.

  • Performance measurements for air volumes up to 15,000 m³/h or 100,000 m³/h.
  • Measurement of pressure behavior.
  • Measurement of energy consumption and rotational speed.
  • Measurement of K-factor, effective pressure curve, and fan pressure increase.
  • Measurement of complete device characteristics.
  • State-of-the-art, regularly monitored, and calibrated measuring devices (e.g., humidity transmitters, power meters, various differential pressure gauges).
  • Ten inlet nozzles ranging from 100 to 1,000 mm in diameter with an accuracy of +/- 1.5%.
  • Evaluation software and documentation monitored by TÜV-Süd.

Quality Assurance at AL-KO Airtech

  • Mechanical Strength: We test the mechanical strength of the chambers and materials under overpressure and underpressure conditions.
  • Leakage: Through overpressure and underpressure tests, we measure the amount of air that needs to be supplied to maintain constant pressure.
  • Flow: Validation of the technical data on the datasheet by measuring air volume, pressures, resistances, and electrical power consumption.
