The AL-KO names stands for ventilation and air handling units of the highest quality. This is based upon independently monitored measurement and test equipment that is always kept state-of-the-art. In these measurement stations, AL-KO not only runs tests on components according to DIN and/or EN, but also on complete ventilation and air handling equipment.

Performance measurements on the complete device and components

The measurement of fans and other components on the chamber test rig serves as a supplement to the manufacturer’s specifications.

  • Performance measurements for air volumes up to 15,000 m³/h or 100,000 m³/h
  • Measurement of pressure behavior
  • Measurement of energy consumption and speed
  • Measurement of K-factor, differential pressure characteristic curve and fan pressure increase
  • Measurement of complete unit characteristic curves
  • State-of-the-art, regularly monitored and calibrated measuring instruments (e.g. humidity transmitter, power meter, various differential pressure meters)
  • Ten inlet nozzles from 100 to 1,000 mm diameter with an accuracy of +/- 1.5%
  • Evaluation software and logging monitored by TÜV-Süd
